NORTH FLORIDA HUNTER JUMPER TOYS 4 TOTS SHOW NOV 11-12 2006

Way to go TEAM!  IHE brought 8 horses to Clay County Agricultural Center, and had another great show!  Shaun and Tally faced some stiff competition in the Level 4s, but took home a very strong 4th place in the only course of the division.  Then Shaun and Mae, along with Katie Geib and Dodger (aka Worth the Wait) entered the Pre-Level 1 and had some respectable placings.  It was Katie's first jumper course, but you wouldn't have known it.  She pulled out a 4th place and looked like a pro before going over to "Hunterland" to win blues in Equitation!  Shaun and Mae started out slow, but ended the show as reserve champions thanks to a strong showing on her second and third rounds! 

Sarah and Mojo, along with Devyn and Joe all looked fantastic in the short stirrup and beginner rider classes - collecting some 3rds and 4ths.  Aslan made his show debut - receiving a 2nd in beginner horse with Shaun and looking great with Jenny Edwards aboard.  Our Pre-adults - Bernadette and Tator, along with Trudy and Tucker also took home some ribbons in some tough pre-Adult classes.  Sunday even brought Trudy and Tucker their first Jumper rounds.   Katie and Dodger came back for another ribbon in the Pre-Level 1, and Mae took home a first!  Tator even clocked HIS first jumper round with Shaun aboard...  Look out for the new IHE jumper converts in the next few shows.

Trudy and Tucker ended the day winning Reserve Champion in the Pre-Adult Hunter Medal class!  The Mini-Prix was exciting to watch, especially after visiting the Bacardi booth - and nobody would have had fun this weekend without Lynn, Jen, Matt, Julie and the rest of the family pitching in!  Thanks to all for a great...but long...weekend.  Next stop - the Jacksonville Equestrian Center!
