Horse Shows in the Park AUGUST 2007

HITP August was their Hawaiian-themed show.  Team Iron Horse all wore their "best" Hawaiian shirts, leis, and other stuff to go to Newberry, FL and kick butt.  Shaun was joined by the Katies - Geib and Kimball, Bernadette, Trudy, and of course - Show Mom Lynn.  Everyone who competed received great ribbons.  Katie and Petey were 1st and second in their first 3-foot jumper courses, won the 2'6" Gambler's Choice event, and even did well in the hunters!  Special congratulations also go out to Katie for winning the "Jumper Style" award - given to the most professional-looking amateur jumper rider at the show.  Bernadette and "Twinkie" AKA "Incognito" had a great first show weekend together (first EVER for Incognito), and Katie and Jake looked very professional - especially in the Jumpers.  Finally, Shaun and Mae continue their incredible journey together.  Mae moved up to the 3'6" jumpers - only pulling the last rail in her first course and putting in an outstanding course, and receiving the blue ribbon for her next round and jump off.
