IHE offers a comprehensive lesson program to satisfy all levels of riding ability and equine knowledge. The IHE program emphasizes all aspects of horse care as well as riding ability, and is designed to challenge students to improve their abilities and move to the next level.

All new IHE students participate in a private orientation and evaluation program where they learn about IHE and the programs that are offered, build a working relationship with their instructor, and set goals for their personalized riding and learning program. Following the orientation program, students are placed into a group of peers at the appropriate skill level.

Students are encouraged to ride their own horses or are welcome to use one of IHE’s quality school horses.

Private and Semi-Private Lesson formats are also available.
